I am a comedian working in Philadelphia. Comedian is a loose term that I’m using because I do acting, writing, improvising and standup from time to time. I’m the Education Director for the Philly Improv Theater (PHIT) where I also perform (The Deans and Here’s Johnny, a show in which I play Johnny Carson) and teach a lot of classes on long form improvisation. I also coach the PHIT House Team, Asteroid!, something I’ve looked forward to weekly since May 2010. I produce a comedy showcase in South Philly called “The Sideshow“.
I host a couple podcasts. The first is one in which I interview local (and some national) personalities called, “Gettin’ Close with Mike Marbach” which was recently awarded the 2013 WitOut Award for Best Podcast. The second is “Stark Raven Mad: A Game of Thrones Podcast”. It’s a weekly recap show with me and a group of other comedians.
