The Sideshow is a comedy show in South Philly that has become a great home for new or unusual acts that might not be right for other theaters. We’ve had teams debut their team here, their new form, try standup for the first time and lots of other great things. We also showcase the tried and true comedy acts of the city be they improv, standup, sketch, storytelling or anything else. Troika, the Tournament of Trios, returns to the Sideshow this April. 27 improvisers will be drawn at random and grouped into trios. Each group will have a month to adopt a name, style of play and practice as much as they want. They will then meet on the Sideshow stage, vying for audience votes and cash prizes!
